From the very start, FastComet feels smooth. Signing up is quick, and launching a site is simple. Nothing feels clunky or frustrating.

The dashboard is easy to use. You will find cPanel right where you expect it. FastComet also gives you helpful tools. These include a free Cloudflare CDN, daily backups, and one-click staging. Security comes built-in with Imunify360. Best of all, there are no pushy upsells.

During my tests, the Shared Hosting plan held up well. I used real content like videos and images. The site still scored well on GTMetrix.

The Cloud VPS plan impressed me even more. It handled tough stress tests with ease. CPU and memory usage stayed stable. Disk speeds were also very fast.

Ease of Use

Ease of Use

When I sign up for a hosting provider, I always look for a smooth process. A complicated setup can mean trouble later. So, I tested FastComet from start to finish. I looked at registration, the dashboard, and server management. Here’s how it went.

Registration

Signing up with FastComet was simple. The steps were clear. I could register and pay in just a few clicks.

I started on the FastComet homepage. From the top menu, I clicked “All Services” and chose “Cloud VPS Hosting.” The next page showed their VPS plans. I picked the Cloud 2 plan because it had a good mix of performance and price.

The checkout form asks for basic details. It separates new and returning customers. This makes the process faster and more personal. On the product page, it was easy to set up my hosting features. Everything had a clear label. I never felt confused.

Each option had a short description. This helped me understand what I was choosing. I saw extras like SitePad, a drag-and-drop builder, and Softaculous, which installs over 400 apps with one click. BitNinja Security was also there for full protection.

FastComet accepts credit cards and PayPal. I paid with a card. Right after, I went straight to the dashboard. I also got a confirmation email right away. It had my login info, server IP, and cPanel link. No waiting for manual approval.

The sign-up process was one of the easiest I’ve seen. No one pushed extra services on me. It felt organized. Even a beginner could do it without help.

User Dashboard

You manage everything from the FastComet dashboard. The design is clean.

At the top, I saw the Overview tab. It gives a snapshot of my account. From here, I could submit support tickets or order new services. On the left is the menu. It lets me dig into my active services. When I click a section, a detailed panel opens on the right.

I liked this layout. I didn’t have to jump between pages. Everything was in one place. It’s one of the most user-friendly hosting dashboards I’ve used.

Server Management

From the dashboard, I scrolled to “Active Products.” I saw my hosting plans and their renewal dates. Each plan had Quick Action buttons. These let me access security, cPanel, and site tools. Clicking them took me right where I needed to go.

To see more, I clicked “View Details” on my VPS plan. A page opened with all my server info. I found nameservers, IP addresses, and disk space. It was all there. I didn’t need to search emails or contact support for basic details. This makes server management simple.

cPanel and Controls

I clicked the cPanel Quick Action button. It asked me to log in. Once inside, I could manage files, email accounts, and databases. I also saw Softaculous. The link between the FastComet dashboard and cPanel is seamless.

Overall, this dashboard works for beginners and pros. It gives full control without the clutter.

Performance

I set up real websites on FastComet shared hosting and their Cloud VPS. Then I tested them under real-world conditions. I installed WordPress with a common theme and plugins like LiteSpeed Cache and Yoast SEO. I used tools like GTmetrix and Check-Host for my tests.

FastComet Shared Hosting Performance

GTmetrix Test Results
I ran GTmetrix from Frankfurt, Germany, where my test server was located. My site loaded okay, but it could be better. Images took a bit longer than I wanted. The server also took a moment to start sending data.

But the onload time was 1.9 seconds. That’s good. It means visitors can interact with the site quickly.

  • Performance Score: 69%

  • LCP: 3.6 seconds

  • TTFB: 666ms

Weeks-Long GTmetrix Analysis
I didn’t stop at one test. I ran daily tests for almost a month. Scores changed a lot, ranging from 32% to 72%. The LCP often went above 4 seconds. That’s higher than Google’s ideal range. TTFB also varied.

On the plus side, Total Blocking Time stayed low most days. But fully loaded times often exceeded 4 seconds. Over weeks, FastComet shared hosting proved capable but not perfect. It’s fine for small sites, but heavier sites may need extra tweaks.

Check Host Test Results
I used Check-Host to see how the server performed worldwide. Europe was fast. Germany showed 4.8ms. Asia was slower. India had 178ms. Hong Kong hit 251ms.

For a global audience, I’d recommend using FastComet’s free CDN. It would help speed things up for visitors far from the server.

Month-long Uptime Test
I used Uptime Robot to test the 99.9% uptime promise. Over 30 days, I saw two downtime incidents. They totaled over 3 days. That’s an uptime of 87.2%. This was a letdown. If your site needs to be online all the time, this is a big factor to consider.

FastComet VPS Performance Test Results

I wanted to see how the VPS handled real work. I built a server for medium to high traffic. Then I ran several tests.

CPU Performance
I used Sysbench to calculate prime numbers with 4 threads. The VPS handled over 5,000 events per second. This is strong. It means the server can manage dynamic sites and databases without lag.

Memory Performance
I tested 10GB of memory for read and write. The speed was high. This is key for fast data retrieval. It helps WordPress sites and eCommerce stores run smoothly.

Disk Speed
I used the dd command to test a 1GB file. The write speed was 1.9 GB/s. That’s very fast. This helps with file transfers and quick database queries.

Network Speed
Ping times were around 0.64ms. There was zero packet loss. This is great for real-time data, like live chats or video.

Uptime & Stability
I used Stress-ng to push the server hard for 60 seconds. It stayed stable. There were no failures. This makes FastComet VPS hosting a solid choice for sites that see traffic spikes.

Final Verdict on VPS
In my view, this VPS is best for developers and businesses. It works well for eCommerce stores, data-heavy sites, and high-traffic blogs. If speed is your priority, this is a strong option.

Level of Support

I tested the ticketing system, live chat, knowledge base, and tutorials. Here’s what I found.

Ticket Support
I opened a ticket from the dashboard. I chose a department and added screenshots. The team replied in less than 10 minutes. That’s fast. The agent gave clear steps to fix my issue.

Live Chat Support
I clicked the chat bubble and entered my details. The agent helped me right away. They were professional and solved my problem quickly. This is great for urgent issues.

Knowledge Base
FastComet has a helpful knowledge base. It covers web hosting, cPanel, domains, and billing. The search tool works well. I found detailed articles that were easy to follow. This helps you solve small problems on your own.

Tutorials
The tutorials are step-by-step. They cover getting started, specific apps, and more. There’s a search feature to find what you need. Whether you need help with WordPress or email, there’s a guide for it.

Final Thoughts on Support
I was impressed. The FastComet customer support team is fast and knowledgeable. The self-help resources are also top-notch. If support matters to you, FastComet delivers.

They are brilliant

With almost ten years in web development, I would recommend FastComet over anyone. They are absolutely brilliant. The only other host with an easy UI is DedicatedCore—but what sets FastComet apart is that they’re willing to do everything for you while also taking the time to teach you how to do it yourself. Exceptional service.

Exceptional service

I’ve been using FastComet for four years, and on the few occasions I’ve needed support, the service has been outstanding. Recently, I ran into an extremely rare and complex issue that was very difficult to identify—it took two days to resolve. I’ve been working with tech since 1999, and I can honestly say the support I received from the FastComet team on this issue was the best I have ever experienced. A massive shout-out to Todor, Tanya, Karamfil, Pravdomir, Veselin, and Dimithur. You guys rock!

Very bad experience with support team

I’m very disappointed with the support team. No matter how clearly I explained my issue, their response was consistently unprofessional—they kept saying “everything is possible so I can’t deny” without showing any real commitment to solving the problem. It didn’t feel like they were taking my issue seriously at all.

Amazing Service and Support

I’ve been using FastComet and its services for over four years now. The stability and quality of their infrastructure have really allowed me to scale my business. An added value is their technical department and support team, who are capable of solving any problem quickly. Their approach is to support and collaborate with customers to resolve any issues or malfunctions. Kudos to the entire staff, especially Nikola G., who helped me today with a DNS issue related to my application.
